YBC KIDS NEWS Holiday Edition : Shopping Tips

I am SO PROUD of my after school kids!!! Recently we have been working on a news broadcast.  Everyone selected an on-camera and off-camera responsibility such as Cameraman and Anchor.  

The children also wrote the script and created our props. This project allowed the us to work as a team, display individual creativity, as well as practice their oral communication skills. 

This is our 1st broadcast, so it is not without minor mistakes but the kids did an AWESOME job!

YBC KIDS : News Bloopers!

YBC KIDS are preparing for our first addition of YBC NEWS! As a part of Building Stones we are creating an online broadcast. The kids will write scripts, build props, handle the camera and backstage duties. The kids are enjoying our Media Club and its a great way to strengthen writing and oral skills. Please stay tuned for our first newscast, in the meantime enjoy some of our bloopers during practice. :)

 

 

YBC KIDS FALL FESTIVAL 2012

Welcome to the YBC BUILDING STONES Fall Festival!
Before enjoying the festival the kids had to pay BS Bills such as rent, gas, clothing as apart of our financial literacy workshop.

You will need:

Biscuits

Pizza sauce

Cheese

Pepperoni or toppings of choice

Toaster oven
