YBC KIDS : News Bloopers!

YBC KIDS are preparing for our first addition of YBC NEWS! As a part of Building Stones we are creating an online broadcast. The kids will write scripts, build props, handle the camera and backstage duties. The kids are enjoying our Media Club and its a great way to strengthen writing and oral skills. Please stay tuned for our first newscast, in the meantime enjoy some of our bloopers during practice. :)

 

 

YBC KIDS FALL FESTIVAL 2012

Welcome to the YBC BUILDING STONES Fall Festival!
Before enjoying the festival the kids had to pay BS Bills such as rent, gas, clothing as apart of our financial literacy workshop.

Kid Friendly Pizza Recipe

The kids really enjoyed cooking this kid friendly pizza recipe!

BISCUIT PIZZA

You will need:

Biscuits

Pizza sauce

Cheese

Pepperoni or toppings of choice

Toaster oven

Spatula
Pot Holders
 

Flatten biscuit dough

Spread pizza sauce

Kid Friendly Recipes

Hello YBCKIDS! 

During the month of September we had tons of fun COOKING!

We made several kid friendly recipes, taco munch, homemade ice

cream, and pizza pizza pizza!

HANDSHAKEN ICE CREAM 

You will need:

2c half and half
1tsp vanilla extract
2tbs sugar
1/4c salt
1 bag of ice
1 sandwich bag
1 one gallon bag

 

Add half & half , sugar, vanilla, salt in empty jug. Shake & pour small servings into individual sandwich bags

 

Fill large gallon bag half way with ice..add salt

Place sandwich bag with mixture in gallon bag with ice & salt, seal and shake for 8-10 mins...will be cold...gloves may help!



WE HAVE ICE CREAM!

Yummmy...ENJOY! You can also add toppings.
